EKUKC Current News/Events: ECUSKF Promotional Exam There will be a promotional exam on March 10, 2007 at Tates Creek High School in Lexington. Anyone who desires ranking will have to pay both their $65 member dues and a $10 exam fee before they will be allowed to participate. However, even if you haven't paid, you're free to join us and watch. The schedule is as follows:
1:30 PM ~ 3:30 PM Joint Practice I've set up a forum on our webpage to answer any questions any of you may have. Visit it here. These forums also host the Japanese Language and Culture forums, which is a good way for us to interact with other on-campus activities. Hopefully, these forums will be put to good use. Due to a number of complications, Saturday practice has been suspended for the time being. The main problem has been attendence, so, until there are at least two or three people who really want to have Saturday practice again, we won't start back. I apologize if this is an inconvenience. If there is anyone who would like to have practice on Saturdays, email me, and I'll look into starting them back up. The Eastern Kentucky University Kendo Club Website now has a new home! You can now access the site at either www.ekukendo.org or at www.easternkentuckykendo.org. Once we set up a branch as the Eastern Kentucky Kendo Club, which will meet on Saturdays and incourage participation from outside the university, the two pages will hold slightly different content. For now, however, they remain nothing more than mirrors of each other - or, more accurately, www.easternkentuckykendo.org acts as a redirect to this website. Weekly Meeting Schedule The Eastern Kentucky Kendo Club holds weekly meetings every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 P.M in the Begley building foyer, right unter the football stands, as well as on Saturdays from 11:00 to 1:00. Meetings are open to anyone at any time - you are more than welcome to attend! |
